It’s been a very long while since I updated here and a LOOOOT has happened in life. But here I am again, going back to my first love and summoning up the courage to share to everyone. September 28, 2024 is a significant date in my life and has probably changed me in many waysContinueContinue reading “The birth story of Kissed by Fire”

How do you respond when spiritual leaders fail you?
What if you heard something about someone you truly admire and it’s not pleasant, what would you do? Have you ever asked someone or have you ever been asked this question? I personally haven’t experienced being asked but I would always question myself what would I do if such a case presents itself. But first,ContinueContinue reading “How do you respond when spiritual leaders fail you?”
Is money the root of all evil?!
They say money is the root of all evil but that statement sounds about untrue. The Bible says to “keep free from the love of money” — love in this context is synonymous to obsession, passion or in another plain term — greed. As someone who has been earning good cash, it’s hard to not idolize money and tbh, it is still a struggle for me to change the way I look at it.
I thank God everytime He reminds me of it. It is usually always on the right time where I tend to forget this simple truth that He continues to bring it back through Word or simply during conversations with other people.
Focus on the Source
When we take the time to look inward to understand the condition of our hearts, sometimes what we find there can produce feelings of guilt, shame, and disappointment. Although this is completely understandable, this is not God’s intention for your life. We may even begin to feel a bit overwhelmed because the number of areasContinueContinue reading “Focus on the Source”
Mid-year Prayer and Fasting | July 3-5, 2018
I finally had the time to write (again) after so much that has been going on lately in my life — also, the very reason why I seldom update my Instagram anymore. It’s that time of the year again where I put aside all of my daily activities and just have quiet and meditation timeContinueContinue reading “Mid-year Prayer and Fasting | July 3-5, 2018”
The past year, in a nutshell!
There’s just so many archived stuff in my head right now that I wanted to share to this blog but wasn’t able to do so because of a few factors.. One, I failed to write it down everytime I think of a note-worthy entry so in effect, I forget about it as the days goContinueContinue reading “The past year, in a nutshell!”
A Gentle Reminder…
How many times do we need to wrestle with God for the things that ultimately serve our flesh? I get you. You know yourself well and you know what you need at the moment. Some of us people are very introspective and sensitive when it comes to such things and events which are currently happeningContinueContinue reading “A Gentle Reminder…”
Name a current song that speaks to your spirit…
That would probably be the song Even If by Mercy Me. (i wanna hear it!) This season where I’m in would be as similar as being at a crossroad where I am faced with two big decisions that would change the entire course of my life. The song speaks to me in so many different ways that everytime I hear it,ContinueContinue reading “Name a current song that speaks to your spirit…”
Make no decision without prayer
What does praying unceasingly mean? It means to pray non-stop. To ask God persistently until He shows you the way you need to take. Why do we need to do this? Is that the reason why we have free will? Yes. We have free will and we have the freedom to choose to do everythingContinueContinue reading “Make no decision without prayer”
My Purpose Driven Life Reflection
I wrote this in my journal from my Purpose-Driven Life reading last 2014 (if my memory serves me right). While I was reading, I was like, “I love this part, though, cannot really decipher what it fully meant”. Not in my wildest imaginations would I think I will go back to this reminder today onlyContinueContinue reading “My Purpose Driven Life Reflection”
